Proceedings against a public authority run to short deadlines and require a mandatory preliminary step which, if missed, closes off access to the court. The first thing we check is the calendar: the date the act was communicated, the deadline for the preliminary complaint and the deadline for bringing proceedings.
We prepare the preliminary complaint, the claim for annulment of the administrative act and, where enforcement would cause loss that is difficult to repair, the application for suspension. We also handle the reverse situation, where the authority fails to respond or unjustifiably refuses to deal with a request, together with claims for damages arising from the unlawful act.
